Precision for the Pursuit of Performance

Race vehicles are built to be driven, torn down, inspected, repaired, and sent back out.

Subzero Surface Solutions provides precision surface cleaning, contamination control, and preparation for professional race teams, builders, fabrication shops, prep facilities, and performance organizations throughout Southern California.

From Trophy Trucks and off-road race vehicles to competition cars and specialized components, our approach is built around the demands of motorsport: efficiency, visibility, precision, and preparation.

Currently specializing in dry ice blasting, Subzero provides a controlled method for removing grease, oil, dirt, rubber, adhesives, and accumulated race contamination without introducing water or spent abrasive blasting media.

BUILT FOR THE RACE SHOP

Cleaning in motorsport is not simply cosmetic.

Contamination can obscure welds, fasteners, fittings, cracks, leaks, suspension components, and structural areas that need to be seen during inspection and preparation.

A properly cleaned race vehicle gives technicians a clearer view of the machine before the next stage of maintenance, repair, fabrication, or setup.

Chassis & Undercarriage

Remove accumulated dirt, grease, oil, and race contamination from chassis structures, skid areas, suspension mounting points, and difficult-to-access surfaces.

Suspension & Running Gear

Clean control arms, uprights, hubs, shock assemblies, steering components, and surrounding hardware to improve visibility during inspection and service.

Engine & Drivetrain Areas

Address oil, grease, and operational buildup around engines, transmissions, differentials, and supporting mechanical assemblies.

Inspection Preparation

Expose surfaces, fasteners, fittings, welds, and mechanical components that may otherwise remain hidden beneath accumulated contamination.

Fabrication & Service Preparation

Provide builders and technicians with cleaner surfaces before repair, modification, disassembly, fabrication, or subsequent surface preparation.

Individual Components

Precision cleaning can also be applied to qualifying components and assemblies removed during teardown or restoration.

LESS CLEANUP. MORE VISIBILITY.

Traditional pressure washing, solvents, degreasers, and manual scrubbing each have their place in a race program.

But certain areas and contamination present a different challenge.

Dry ice blasting allows technicians to target complex geometries without saturating the vehicle with water or leaving abrasive blasting media throughout the chassis and mechanical assemblies.

Because the dry ice sublimates during the process, the primary material remaining for cleanup is the contamination removed from the vehicle.

For race programs where time between events matters, reducing unnecessary cleaning and cleanup can translate directly into more time available for inspection, maintenance, and preparation.

FROM TROPHY TRUCKS TO COMPETITION CARS

Professional motorsport places enormous demands on equipment.

Desert racing adds another level of exposure, forcing vehicles and components through dust, dirt, heat, oil, grease, and extreme operating conditions over hundreds of miles.

Road racing, performance vehicles, and other competition platforms create their own contamination and maintenance challenges.

Subzero approaches each application according to the vehicle, component, contamination, substrate, and objective rather than treating every race vehicle the same.

The goal is simple:

Give the team a cleaner machine to inspect, maintain, prepare, and race.

BUILT AROUND THE PROGRAM

Every race program operates differently.

Subzero can support complete vehicles, targeted areas, teardown operations, individual components, and specialized cleaning challenges based on the requirements of the team or facility.

Mobile capability allows qualifying work to be performed at race shops, fabrication facilities, preparation centers, and other locations throughout Southern California.

For individual components and specialty parts, off-site service may also be available for qualifying projects.

THE SUBZERO APPROACH

Performance comes from details.

So does preparation.

Subzero Surface Solutions brings a controlled, technical approach to motorsport surface cleaning for teams and builders who need more than a cosmetic result.

Whether preparing a Trophy Truck for inspection, cleaning a competition vehicle during teardown, addressing difficult contamination, or restoring individual components, every project begins with the same question:
