In support of the USS Midway Airwing Restoration Team, Subzero Surface Solutions performed precision dry ice blasting on a Northrop Grumman E-2 Hawkeye at Naval Air Station North Island in San Diego. Utilizing a non-abrasive, moisture-free cryogenic cleaning process, operational contamination was safely removed while preserving sensitive components and original finishes. This project highlights the effectiveness of dry ice blasting for military aircraft restoration, aviation maintenance, and the preservation of historically significant aircraft.
