Subzero Surface Solutions returned to the historic Douglas DC-3 “Flabob Express” to perform precision dry ice blasting across both radial engine assemblies, engine pans, and surrounding firewall areas.

Years of accumulated oil, grease, carbon, and operational residue were removed from complex mechanical surfaces without introducing water or secondary blasting media.

The result restored visibility throughout the engine compartments, making components, hardware, lines, and surrounding structure easier to inspect while preserving the character and finishes of the aircraft.
